Building your dream home should be as stress-free as possible, which is why CMS Homes offers the Easy Build Program. This program is designed to simplify the financing process and make your journey smoother than the traditional method of multiple loans and closings.

  • The Easy Build Program requires a satisfactory pre-construction appraisal of the lot and home and a lender’s commitment to your permanent financing when the home is complete.
  • You provide 10% of the project cost in cash or lot equity. Your lot equity can be part or all of the 10% deposit required.
  • Your lot or a portion of your lot is conveyed to CMS Homes, LLC, and deeded back to you at closing.

“There are a lot of little things in a new home that most people aren’t aware of that can be cheaply made and hidden, which impacts the home’s comfort and value. For example, we use 2’x12’ floor joists instead of 2x8s or 2x10s, which you’ll find in most new builds. We use better-quality insulation, thicker vinyl siding, and Tyvek-brand wrap with underlayment. We also upgrade suppliers if we find a well-researched, better option.” No matter where you build or the builder you choose, research materials quality and craftsmanship and ask in greater detail about the “hidden” facets of your house. Also, ask to speak to a few of their clients about the build and the long-term quality. “We often have buyers come to us that have been quoted a much higher price for a similar but lower-quality home.
