Cost to build can vary greatly depending on the building site. Here are 6 items that can add cost to your new home build.

Tree Removal –
Are there trees that will need to be cut down? Is there a place on the property to put them or will they need to be removed from the site?

Distance to Utilities –
Where are the water, sewer, electric and gas located. Is the distance from the home greater than 50′?

Is there enough dirt or is there too much dirt at the site?
Either way it means trucking dirt to or from the property.

Expansive Soils –
Will extra measures need to be taken to get the proper bearing weight under the footing.
